A: No, but we do have portable restroom and temporary fencing rentals.

A: Yes, for those containers that have a CA redemption value or Cash refund

Q: Does the recycle center in Goleta take oil and water based paint?

 

A: Yes, you can bring any oil or water based paint for disposal.

Q: Disposal of fiberglass insulation?

 

A: We can only take this materials at our construction & demolition facility, located at 119 N. Quarantina Street for a disposal fee.

Q: Do you pay per container or by weight of recycled containers?

 

A: We pay by weight & container.

Q: How do you dispose of a car seat?

 

A: You can bring it to our construction & demolition facility, located at 119 N. Quarantina Street for a disposal fee.

Q: Can I weigh my truck today for the DMV?

 

A: Yes, we are a certified weight master and you can weight your vehicle at 119 N. Quarantina Street for a $20.00 fee.

Q: Do you recycle batteries?

 

A: Yes, we recycle household dry cell, lithium, and automotive batteries.

Q: Do you take old TV’s?

 

A: Yes we do

Q: How much they give back for recycled copper back per pound?

 

A: We do not pay for copper.

Q: Where can I dispose of a 20 foot boat?

 

A: We will take that at 119 N Quarantina Street. It MUST have a junk slip from the DMV and we will charge a disposal fee per ton.

Q: How do I dispose of a microwave oven?

 

A: You may bring to one or our yards for free drop off. Residential customers can schedule an annual or e-waste pick-up.

Q: When are you open?

 

A: We are open Monday – Friday , 7am to 5pm and Saturdays 7am to 2pm and office hours are 8am to 1:30pm.

Q: Is trash delayed a day this week due to holiday?

A: Pickup of trash, recycling and yard waste following a weekday holiday is delayed one day. Please visit the this page for a Holiday Schedule or call our office for further information.

Q: Do you accept mattresses for free?

 

A: Yes we take most mattresses for no charge

Q: Do ant poison feeders with the poison still in them go in the regular trash?

 

A: No, if the trap has active pesticides in it, they are considered a household hazardous waste and should be disposed of at UCSB’s Hazardous Waste Center.
