Fee Waiver Application for In-Place Waste Service

The City of Santa Barbara waives the fee for in-place service for qualifying Small Residential customers who are unable to roll their carts to the curb due to age or disability and provide written representation that no other person in the household can roll the carts to the curb. 

To qualify for the waiver, customers must:

• Be 80 years of age or older, or;

• Have handicapped status recognized by the DMV, or;

• Provide a letter from their doctor attesting to disability.
